But the guy below me covered it pretty solidly. I agree with every thing he said. I think that you need to turn up the column of all the sounds except the melody and piano. The melody and piano are good but I can barely hear the rest. This song has promise, just keep working on it.

The more I hear

from you, the more I like your music. This is overall a song that I would have to go through 3 or 4 times to pull out many flaws, so I won't unless you ask me to. Great song. I love it all the way through. The only thing I can think of one time through is it gets a little repetitive. Great song. Keep it up.

sound coming in at 0:56. That sound is awesome. You could remake a song using that since you are dissatisfied with this song. I still like this song a lot, but a rmix would be better.

Yet another good work.

i don't think this is your best work but still WAY above most music nowadays.

The intro was a little weak. It didn't attract my attention immediately but when that bass came in, Man I love bass...

The pad at 0:55 could be increased volume wise.

It gets a little repetitive but overall good song.

I have been loving all your songs since I dled them all. They are great. Listen to them all day long.

I think this is your best song. I do because it is happy for one. I don't like depressing songs most the time. 2nd reason is that it fits perfectly. All the sounds fit perfectly. 3rd reason is the bass beat. That thing is BEASTLY!!! 4th reason. The Hard Style. Har Har Har Har Har etc. part makes it sound like pirates (hence basspirates). 5th reason is the change of melody at 3:26. That made the whole song fit together well. 6th reason is the ending. It took out the more heavier sound (except bass) and then ADDED a sound to end it out. I liked that.

Anyway, great songs man! I love all of em! Keep it up!

Sounds a whole lot like Ciaran Begley's RMX

The intro is almost note for not like Ciaran Begley's remix.

Pretty good remix although I like Ciaran's remix better. Overall it doesn't flow as well as it could, a little more work would be good. To me and I think it is a little too long.

By the way, did you get permission to remix this? I don't see any in the author's comments.

You don't need permission to remix a song if it's non-commercial.
And I'm not sure what the laws are for sampling, something like you can't use more than 3 seconds/sample, but as this is public domain it doesn't really matter.
Also many artists make 'white label' tracks, which are never released, if they've used a lot of samples from the original song or haven't made special arrangements with the artist.

Intro

the intro is rough. Starts out slow then instantly fast. Fix that.

Overall good remix. The ending is weird. I would probably take out the sound at 4:28 completely and just let it fade out.

Pretty good

It just needs more depth by adding more pads. Especially in the beginning.

The transition at 0:48 needs to be better. That sound comes fits well, just doesn't transition well.

The cut off at 1:09 probably wasn't needed that soon. I do like the soft part, just shouldn't cut off that soon.

The piano that comes into the soft part doesn't fit perfectly, but is good after the transition.

The ending was sudden and too soon. You should go back into a part like from 0:48 but still making it fit better.

Good start. I like most the sounds. All you need is more layer at the beginning, fix some transitions, and change the ending. Nice work.
